Hey Guys! I haven't posted in awhile. I think its about time I posted something new fron Candlepin land. Seems like forever ago since I posted that first candlepin bowl-mor video that my friend shot for me. I've now been working at a centre working on 2 years now and I love it. The day to day things get kind of boring after awhile, but I always love fixing the machines when they break down. In our centre the mechanic is in the morning and daytime to do PM and other things around the centre that need fixing, but at night all employees need to know something about fixing basic lane problems since he`s not there. Most of the employees seem to rather move a pair of league lanes and leave it for the mechanic in the morning. Though, in my mind, if I can fix it. I will take the time to do it. Mainly cause I don`t feel thats right (their excuse is "Oh, thats his job") and also cause I just love doing it! haha I guess Im done venting and rambling...
Anyways, there seems to be lots of videos online now showing these machines run, but I attempted to go through and explain how each part of the machine works. I only got the top and front end to show you at the moment. I did the whole machine, but the video of the pit and turntable area were too dark to make out. I'm gonna record part two soon with better light. I'm really bad at explaining things so I hope I wasn't too confusing. I tend to mumble a lot too which doesn't help either...
Anyways, enjoy the mess of chains, belts, gears, micro-switches and motors!
